POS Quality Paper started in Alabama in 2018 to sell thermal paper rolls to local retail. The job has not changed. We still sell BPA-free receipt rolls, in the widths a register, a card machine, or a fuel pump actually takes, packed as cases and tray packs.

We are not a mill, and we are not a general office supplier. The catalog is thermal paper. No bond, no carbonless guest checks, no ribbons, no printers. If the machine needs a coated thermal roll, that is the product. The full list is on the thermal paper rolls page.

Phone is 877-720-6510, 9:00am to 5:00pm CST. Email is info@posqualitypaper.com. The contact page also lists contact@posqualitypaper.com. We answer email within one business day. The site does not publish a street address. If a vendor form needs one, call and ask. Do not copy an address from another paper company onto our account.

What we took on in 2018

A small shop does not want a lecture on paper. It wants the roll that was in the printer last week, in a pack that will last the month, at a case price that makes sense. That was the local retail work. Fair prices, fast order handling, and a short list of sizes.

Those same sizes are what wholesalers reorder. A distributor does not need a different product. They need the same 3 1/8 inch case, the same 2 1/4 inch terminal roll, and the same 2 5/16 inch pump roll, on a schedule. We now ship bulk quantities beyond Alabama. Nationwide is the reach. It is not a second brand.

The line we still use is a plain one. We work so the counter does not have to think about paper. If we do the job, the receipt prints and the door closes.

What “quality” means here

Quality on a receipt roll is not a coating slogan. It is three checks.

The width matches the printer. A 3 inch roll is not a 3 1/8 inch roll. A 2 1/4 inch terminal roll is not a pump roll. We split the catalog that way so a reorder does not land on the wrong page. 3 1/8 inch rolls are the register size. 2 1/4 inch rolls are the card-machine size. 2 5/16 inch pump rolls are the dispenser size, including the 400 foot tray pack.

The pack matches the way the site uses paper. A 50-roll case is the normal wholesale unit. Tray packs, often 25 rolls by 2, are there when a full case is more than the storeroom can hold. The 300 foot register roll is a 10-by-4 tray pack. The 400 foot pump roll is 12 by 2. The product page names the pack. The cart should match that page, not a similar length.

The grade is the one we can stand behind. Every roll we list is BPA-free. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences describes bisphenol A as a high-volume chemical used in plastics and resins. That is why buyers ask for a different receipt grade. BPA-free does not mean phenol-free, and it does not mean BPS-free. We do not use those words unless a spec sheet for the current lot says so. If a bid asks for no-phenols-added paper, email before you order. We would rather lose the case than put the wrong claim on it.

California’s warning law is a separate question. The official Proposition 65 FAQ explains what that list is. Washington has also moved state agencies off bisphenol receipt paper, described in this Washington State note on thermal receipts. Those pages are why purchasing departments ask. They are not a certificate for our rolls.

Who the orders come from

Local retail was the first customer, and it still is. A single counter, one or two widths, a case when the last tray runs low.

Restaurants usually need two widths. The front register is often 3 1/8 inch. The card terminal is often 2 1/4 inch. Those credit-card widths sit on their own menu because that buyer searches for machine paper, not a register case. The kitchen printer may be a third width. Order them apart. A mixed carton is how the wrong roll gets loaded.

Fuel sites split the same way. The dispenser is often 2 5/16 inch. The indoor register is 3 1/8 inch. The first pump order should name the dispenser. Width and core are the two things that stop a pump printer, and we do not print a core size on every product yet. Ask before that first case.

Wholesalers and multi-site shops buy the same list on a longer rhythm. Email the width, the length, and how many cases a month. We do not private-label on this site, and we do not print logos on the back of the roll unless a separate agreement says so. Stock rolls, known sizes.

How an order moves

The site is a simple catalog on purpose. Size, length, pack, price, then the cart. Free shipping starts at $100, which is why a case is the normal order. A short 2 1/4 x 50 case sits at the low end of the list. A long 3 1/8 or a 400 foot pump tray pack costs more because there is more paper on the roll. Compare a case with a case.

If the width is wrong, or the case arrives damaged, send it back. After we receive the return, the refund is issued within 10 business days. That window is on the product, not an open trial. Have the order number when you call.

Support hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm CST. We do not promise a 24-hour desk on this page. If another line on the site says otherwise, this is the one to use until we confirm a single schedule.

What we will not invent

A buyer comparing suppliers will see older companies with a street address, several warehouses, and same-day ship from a local dock. We do not claim that. We do not claim a national warehouse network, a price-match desk, phenol-free grades, FSC paper, or a fit list for every Clover, Square, Epson, or Gilbarco model.

What we can say is smaller and checkable. Alabama, 2018. BPA-free thermal rolls. Widths from 1 3/4 inch to 3 1/8 inch. Cases and tray packs. Free shipping over $100. A phone number that is answered in the afternoon, Central time.

Storage is still the customer’s job once the case arrives. Thermal paper darkens with heat. A trunk, a pump island, or a shelf over the grill will gray the edge of a roll before it is loaded. Keep cases cool, dry, and out of the sun, and use the older case first.

If you are placing the first order

Read the width on the old core, or on the label inside the paper door. Confirm the printer is thermal. Pick the longest length the door will still close on. Then match the pack to how fast the site uses paper.

Once a case has run cleanly, reorder that same URL. Tray pack and case of the same length are separate pages so the pack you want is the pack that shows up.

Call 877-720-6510 if the core is unmarked, if the order is for more than one site, or if a purchasing form needs a detail the site does not list. We would rather answer before the case ships.
